Chevrolet Impala is a full size car created by the “Chevrolet” division of GM. It was introduced for the first time in 1958 as the model of the year. It Derived from the southern African antelope, Chevrolet's most expensive passenger model throughout the 1965.

Also it had been the best selling automobile in the United States for that year, its major competitors were Ford Galaxie 500 and the Plymouth Fury. The Impala lead many years in the market. Later the Caprice was introduced as a top-line Impala Sport Sedan for the 1965 model.
